Claudia Martínez Jacobo
Sistering Accompaniment and Grassroots Coordinator

Claudia has been with SHARE since April of 2015. As delegations coordinator, she coordinates the delegations visiting El Salvador from SHARE’s grassroots partners, and coordinates the visits of SHARE’s Salvadoran counterparts to our U.S. grassroots partners. In 2016, started with the coordination of the grassroots program in El Salvador, she  also has participated in different tours promoting SHARE's work in the United States, sharing with our brothers and sisters.

She also participates in project events and activities, updating the SHARE community about project progress and advancements. Claudia likes being a part of SHARE because she has the opportunity to share with many people from other communities and to learn from their stories and different life situations.

"One of my inspirations are the people in El Salvador and the United States that work together to accompany communities and youth in El Salvador, youth are the present, and they need us to succeed in their life, as well as women" Claudia Martinez

During her career she has participated in academic talks on the identification, formulation, and management of projects and studied the processing and evaluation of international cooperation projects. She is also the graduate of a Human Rights of Women course. She graduated with a degree in International Relations from the University of El Salvador in 2014. Born in San Salvador on March 8, 1988, International Women’s Day, she is the daughter of Salvadorans.

Claudia likes spending time with her family and friends, and especially likes dancing and playing with her niece and nephews. She enjoys teaching them and learning from them because they have a lot of imagination.
