Costs for General and Seminary Delegations | Costs for Traditional and Youth Sistering Partners Tour Costs | Itemized Delegation Budget
We at SHARE want to thank you for your interest in building understanding and solidarity across borders through a delegation. Please read the sections below to learn about the costs that delegates can expect to incur when they come to El Salvador. It is important to SHARE that no one is barred from coming to El Salvador by lack of finances; please contact Elly Jordan, US Grassroots Coordinator, to find out about partial scholarships available for some delegates. Click here for ideas on how to prepare your delegation!
General Delegations and Theological School Delegations: For the year of 2007, delegation fees for the Youth Delegation "Una Gota de Agua: The Mightiest Waterfalls Begin with a Single Drop of Water" and Theological Solidarity Consortium Delegation will be $950 plus airfare for a 7-9 day delegation experience. This covers delegates lodging, food, transportation, translation, set up, and coordination. A portion of these fees also goes to help SHARE carry on our work of accompanying women's empowerment, citizen participation, and leadership development in El Salvador. SHARE offers one $300 discount per Theological Solidarity Consotium group of 10 or more. Please contact Elly Jordan, US Grassroots Coordinator, for details.
Delegation Costs for Sistering Partners: Below please find estimated Delegation costs per
person for a nine day delegation. For a detailed cost estimate per delegate please click here. Due to the commitment that our sistering partners make to financially support projects in El Salvador and give an annual membership contribution, SHARE works to keep costs for these groups at a minimum. Please note that the costs below only apply to delegations of committees that have an existing relationship with SHARE, when they take place outside the context of a large general delegation. SHARE also offers partial scholarships for some delegates that come in the context of a sistering delegation. Please contact Elly Jordan, US Grassroots Coordinator, for details.
