During their trip, they visited the home and Martyrdom Sight of Oscar Romero, his tomb in the National Cathedral, the University of Central America, and the Memorial Wall, which honors those who died during the civil war. They were also able to travel to SHARE's new target zone in Santa Ana, and visit with the women of Cooperative El Jicaro, where SHARE is doing local development work. The highlight of the trip were the four days in El Buen Pastor ("The Good Shepherd"), their sistering community, with whom they have shared 18 years of solidarity. During this time, laughter and memories were shared as well as hopes and dreams for the future. These visits inspire and rejuvenate the spiritual, moral, and physical accompaniment of the sistering relationship.
