The joint Holy Spirit (McAllen TX) /St. Mary's (Mt. Pleasant, MI) delegation came to El Salvador just before the Municipal Elections in early March 2006. They had a wonderful experience, enjoying time in their sister communities, Miramar and Guajoyo, in San Vicente. In addition, they had a chance to see some sacred sites in San Salvador, meet with a mayoral candidate (who later won and is now the Mayor of Mejicanos), and enjoy a visit with a the youth of Nueva Generación 21.
