Regional Sistering Partnerships with women and youth groups. Through this model, which is ideal for religious institutions, community organizations, or clubs you can:
- Form bonds of friendship with people in rural Salvadoran communities. Deepen your understanding of the issues affecting Salvadorans through year-long communication, delegation visits to El Salvador , or visits from community representatives from El Salvador to your community in the United States . Build a profound connection that will last at least five years.
- Support projects that encourage women’s empowerment, leadership development, and citizen participation which help build the capacity of Salvadorans to address the problems they face on a local and national level. Hold events and fundraisers in your community that will fund these initiatives.
- Get involved in advocacy issues in the United States which affect your friends in El Salvador . Use the educational materials provided by SHARE to write letters to your Members of Congress and spread the word in your community.

Or bring friends from El Salvador on educational tours in your community. Build an educational and life changing relationship between institutions that will last for at least 3 years.
- Come to El Salvador on one of our annual youth delegations, which will include fun and educational activities sure to build enthusiasm within your group.
- Take advantage of our youth-friendly advocacy materials to learn about the issues facing your partner region and to make your voice heard by writing letters and giving presentations to other members of your community.
- Hold fundraisers in your community to raise funds that help the youth in your partner regions hold leadership trainings, create theater and dance troops, organize soccer tournaments, and build solutions to the economic challenges they face.
- Exchange letters or emails with youth in your partnership communities to share experiences – and even practice Spanish.
