Core Values
SHARE’s work includes binational projects and programming in El Salvador and the United States that support the following institutional core values: Women’s Empowerment: Provide access to education and opportunities for integrated development to women and girls in order to improve their economic, social and political positions in their communities and organizations Citizen Participation: Promote active participation in democratic processes, decision-making and advocacy campaigns Leadership Development: Cultivate the skills of a broader base of people including women and young people so that they can become democratic leaders and empower others Environmental Sustainability: Advocate and raise awareness about environmental justice, including prevention and responses to climate change These core values guide our work in all of our program areas:
