A Photographic Documentary

We are pleased to announce our first photography project "Ojos de Agua" ( Eyes of Water) that empowers our local Tocoa region community to collect visions of daily life and families that live in close proximity to the river habitat of Guapinol, San Pedro, and Aguan. 

These communities are facing ongoing challenges realted to water contamination, environmental degradation, access to clean water, and confrotation from primary poluters: mining corporations. 

COMMUNITY PHOTO FELLOWSHIP 

A defining feature of this project is offerinf a Community Photo Fellowship that includes the donation of a basic camera kit and onsite training on photographic principles and assignments to be included in a photographic exhibition. 

We are anticipating a traveling exhibit of these photograps and the Belfast Photo Festival and othe public venues in the US, Spain and Ireland.
