Theresa Cameranessi 

Theresa is an Emergency Room nurse and Public Health RN in San Francisco.  She has worked in public health clinics in Tijuana, Paraguay in the Peace Corps, and migrant health clinics in California, Arizona, and Oregon.  Previously on the board of the human rights group School of the Americas Watch (and veteran of numerous SOAW delegations and citizen lobbying in DC), Theresa has a special interest in legal protections of human rights and human dignity (in the US, Latin America, and beyond), and in Liberation Theology/ Liberation Psychology.  She frequently dreams of pursuing a law degree in addition to her Master's in Nursing of Vulnerable Populations to better serve immigrants, refugees, and families.
